Built on a passion for nostalgic smells, I started this business with one thing in mind, how can I bring memories and feeling of comfort to people's homes. We also wanted to transport people home when they aren't home and are feeling homesick. Living abroad for many years of my life, I have always found that what gave me the comforting feeling of home were the scents that reminded me of it. Which is why I loved being in the kitchen when people cooked my favorite home meals, wearing my mother perfume, or going to Arabic spice stores. Shumm (Which means smell in Arabic) brings you home to the places, people, and moments that matter the most. It is the candle you need for comfort and a trip down memory lane. After all, the sense of smell is the strongest tie to our memory.
